An Idiot's Guide to Wine - Stand-Up Comedy Show With Wine Tasting Miami Concert reviews
Relaxing and innovative
An Idiot's Guide to Wine - Stand-Up Comedy Show With Wine Tasting, Only a show could be both thrilling and subdued at the same time. Basically, this show is a parade of Sting's greatest hits (and some not so greatest) set to orchestral arrangement. It's definitely not a rock concert, though. Some songs work better than others. For the most part, the audience sat quietly and listened, and applauded when appropriate. It's very little opportunity to really get into it. Sting doesn't have a lot of stage presence, either. He mostly just stands there and sings, but with the full orchestra behind him, it works. He doesn't really need to prance around to sell the show. Finally, the show was nearly three hours long, so I definitely feel I got my money's worth. Overall, it wasn't as emotionally charged as most concerts I go to, but what it lacked in excitement, it made up for in sheer uniqueness.
